What kind of game is played ... in the Game Palace? How does a time-swap between Dawn and Night inside of the Game Palace feel like? All is to be revealed through these two olfactory artworks. Behind this metamorphosis, these two exquisite compositions reflect just one storyline: game might be hell, but hell is only a game.

At the first light of dawn, a column of exhausted mirrors returns to their sleeping chamber, while other insensate objects and the creatures within the game palace begin to restructure silently. The gigantic orange bouquets aligned in the centre of the atrium compete with each other, manifesting individuality through their exuberant scent. As the light inside the palace alters, an intense beam of sunlight enters the voiceless palace through the ever-closed crystal gate, casting prisms of dancing light across the white marble floor.

While the sun rises, the light through the fish scale-patterned crystal gate intensifies on the orange bouquets, creating an even more powerful aroma—indescribable but crisp fresh.

Look closely and you’ll see the bouquets are on fire, flaming vigorously. They catch fire in the sun! This unspoken signal suggests that the Hell Master’s ceremony of flaming blooms is beginning, heralding the dawn in the Game Palace.
