The House entrusted Symrise with the new interpret ... ation of the iconic juice. The perfume duo Alienor Massenet and Maurice Roucel deliver a resolutely modern and still as intense version by bringing an olfactory signature updated with high quality raw materials.

A modern woody aromatic fougere that begins with a luminous accord of large green basil and Madagascar ginger. Floral sweetness, lavender and, for the first time, a geranium also from the big island of the Indian Ocean reveal all their sensuality at the heart of the fragrance. In the background, the patchouli and amber wood chords push the liveliness of the top notes and give the fragrance a long hold.

The result is a very distinctive modernized fragrance based on the structure of the original 1881 fragrance.

From the base notes, the classic animal facets have been replaced by vibrant amber woods, for a contemplative sensuality. A high quality patchouli and an exclusive large green basil were used to further enhance the noble ingredients of the formula. The classic ylang-ylang has been rebalanced and worked with precious Madagascan geranium to enhance a more modern fougere appearance. A light hint of juicy pineapple and fused natural spices gives a natural and immediate grip on the fragrance.

Cerruti 1881 Silver is a modern Fougere that begins with a bright accord created thanks to carefully selected ingredients, such as Large Green Basil and Madagascar Ginger. The floral sweetness of Lavender and, for the first time, a Madagascan Geranium reveal their sensuality in the fragrance's middle notes.
